Morning Routine, Soft Edited
Mornings don't need 10 steps.
They need a calm barrier and deep hydration so everything you did last night actually sticks. This routine keeps it to 2–3 core steps, using fragrance‑free, barrier‑first formulas that play well under light makeup or the mineral SPF you already trust.
Cleanse (or Just Rinse)
If you wake up oily or you wore heavy skincare overnight, use a gentle cleanse. If your skin feels balanced, a cool water rinse is enough – no need to over-wash.
Recommended: Cleansing Foam – pH-balanced, non-stripping lather that removes sweat and overnight residue without breaking your barrier.
How to use: 1 pump on damp skin, massage 30 seconds, rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry.
Treat with One Targeted Serum
Morning is your chance to pick a single focus – barrier support, glow, or smoothing – not layer five different actives.
Great AM options:
Bioactive Prebiotics Jelly Serum – for barrier support and calm, even skin.
Peptide / Niacinamide based serums – for smoothing texture, fine lines, and tone.
How to use: Smooth a thin layer over face and neck. Let absorb fully before moisturizing.
Moisturize Without Heaviness
You want hydration that lasts through the day without pilling or feeling greasy.
Recommended: Sensitive Skin Moisturizer or your preferred lightweight gel-cream – barrier-supporting and suitable for most skin types and climates.
How to use: 1–2 pumps over face and neck, pressing into skin instead of rubbing.
Quick Hydration Boost
If your skin runs dry or you're in AC or heating all day, you can add a simple hydration prep without turning this into a 7-step routine.
Optional: Hydrating Toner or Microbiome Prebiotics Face Mist – softens and refreshes, especially in dry indoor air.
Use it before serum, or mist lightly after moisturizer when your skin feels tight.
Build Your Morning Edit
Your default should be a skinny 2–3 step stack: Cleanse → Treat → Moisturize. On tougher skin days, layer in one hydration boost – not a shelf of extra products. That's the Soft Edit philosophy: fewer steps, better results.
